There's a new sheriff in town at the University of Florida – well, at least there is in the Griffin/Oakley Strength & Conditioning Complex on the southwest side of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville.

Jeff Dillman was named the Director of Strength & Conditioning for the University of Florida in January, replacing Mickey Marotti, who had served in the same capacity for UF since January of 2005.

For the members of the Florida football team, there has been a period of adjustment because Dillman brings different techniques and a new perspective to the program. During the winter and summer months, the strength coach is the member of the staff with the most interaction with the football team – making it a crucial position to fill. A month into his tenure at UF, Dillman appears to have seamlessly woven himself into the fabric of the squad with spring practice set to begin in about two weeks.
