ShareMany ‘firsts’ for the Aggies
The matchup of the Florida Gators against the Texas A&M Aggies featured a series of ‘firsts’ more exciting than the first time one goes to a bar after turning 21, or the first time a six-year-old is taken to Chuck-E-Cheese's.
A&M’s head coach, Kevin Sumlin, spent the last four seasons building the University of Houston into an offensive powerhouse. After Hurricane Isaac forced the athletic department to postpone the team’s opening week football game against Louisiana Tech, this weekend’s matchup with the Gators would be his first manning the helm of the deeply traditional program.
