‘Man down, man up’ for Muschamp

Football is, to say the very least, a violent, sometimes extremely dangerous sport.

Witness the countless former NFL athletes who are currently suing the league for increased medical benefits following widespread and widely varying levels of brain damage.

Witness the severe injuries inflicted every so often that keeps mothers of football players everywhere on the edges of their seats at every level of play, not just among the professional ranks.

Finally, to a far lesser extent, just take a look at any given team’s injury report the Monday following a weekend game.

The Florida Gators, playing in front of more than 87,000 ravenous Texas A&M fans last weekend, were able to escape College Station with a victory, but unfortunately, the team was unable to escape that dreaded injury bug.
