Louisville poised to hire Charlie Strong
ESPN and the Louisville Courier-Journal are reporting that the athletic personnel committee at the University of Louisville is scheduled to meet Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. to approve a recommendation by athletic director Tom Jurich to hire Florida defensive coordinator Charlie Strong as the new head football coach. The personnel committee meeting is expected to be nothing more than a rubber stamp formality and Strong is expected to be introduced as the new head coach shortly after the meeting.
