ShareLB Graham Stewart transfers from UF
Sophomore linebacker Graham Stewart returned a blocked punt for a touchdown in the Gator Bowl against Ohio State, and he was quickly moving up the depth chart this spring.
Unfortunately for the Gators, some family issues will prevent him from contributing again. The Connecticut native told the school he wants to transfer to be closer to home.
“I have some personal family issues that have caused me to evaluate how far I am away from home,” Stewart said in a press release. “I appreciate my time in Gainesville and have nothing but good things to say about coach (Will) Muschamp and the staff at Florida, but some things are more important. I really need to be closer to home.”
