Eight sacks wasn’t enough for Texas A&M to beat Florida, but it certainly was way more than the Gators football team would like to see any given Saturday.

These eight plays will be broken down by coaches from Florida and Tennessee — the Gators play at Tennessee at 6 p.m. ET Saturday — over the next week, so we wanted to take an in-depth look as well to see exactly where and how the breakdowns in protection occurred during the Gators’ 20-17 win in College Station, Texas.

As we learn, not every sack was the fault of the offensive linemen. Not every sack was Gators quarterback Jeff Driskel’s either for holding onto the ball too long, something he and coach Will Muschamp pointed out during post-game interviews.

As it turns out, it was a little bit of everything. Fortunately for Florida, most of the mistakes appear to be correctable.

Let’s look at each play individually while also noting exactly how much time Driskel had to find an open receiver or get rid of the ball.
