The Florida Gators escaped with their proverbial lives against Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday.

In what was expected to be a decisive victory for the Gators against an overmatched team from the Sun Belt, Florida required the services of Loucheiz Purifoy and Jelani Jenkins to score the go-ahead touchdown with two ticks left on the game clock.
