There was something wrong with our football program when SA took over last year. Last years team did not perform to the level it could have in 2009. This year, with Tim and all the others playing in the NFL this year, it all fell completely apart. Whatever caused this year did not just start this year. It has been coming on for two years.  This is the first time I have seen CM angry because he let it get this way. And determined to fix it, what ever it takes.

Let’s get a real Offensive Head Coach.  Addazio is a great line coach.  Nothing more.  Stop asking him to do more than what he is capable of.  This falls on Urban’s shoulders.  It is okay to give a person a shot but when the whole team suffers, the HEAD COACH needs to make the tough choices.  Make the right decision Urban, build this team back up, don’t let them suffer because you want to give a few nice guys a chance.  This is a job, not a popularity contest.

Bottom line: Both sides of our lines got punched in the mouth, and stayed down after taking the other team’s shots. That was the scouting report on our guys. Urban knows we need to get those “tough ass” players back who when they get punched, they got angry, inspired, street fought in the trenches and wanted to dominate you. That is a personality trait that graduated last year. I am not talking about Tim. I am talking about bad asses like Tartt, Pouncey, Watkins. Spikes, Cunningham, Dunlap. Those guys were “tough ass” players. When they got hit in the mouth, they not only hit you back, but it infuriated them to the point that they then wanted to bury you. This present group lacked that personality trait. Yeah, guys like Pouncey and Trattou fight back, but, when the rest of your teammates stand around and let themselves get dominated like this group did, its result is what we witnessed this year. Losses. Hey, its a great opportunity for our school to land these top recruits out there. They can play right away. If they follow the program they can end up as NFL players like so many of our guys did last year. Urban knows what is missing, he is the best coach in college football, period! end of story!
