Gator Country is partnering with Bubba’s “Best Damn Tailgate” to make the best tailgate in Gainesville better than ever.

On Saturday, join us for tons of fun in the Gainesville sun before the No. 2 Gators’ 3:30 p.m. kickoff against No. 7 South Carolina at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

There will be live music by Jamie Davis, a recording artist from Gainesville who has been headlining shows and enjoying success with his first album, “High Weeds & Rust.” There also will be a live performance by seventh-grade singing sensation Rion Paige, winner of the North Florida-Texaco Country Showdown competition.

Bubba’s tailgates draw hundreds of fans and this Saturday’s event will be the biggest yet. It’s a ‘Bring Your Own Beverage” event and there will be drinking games, corn hole, ladder ball, TVs and $25 parking three blocks from the stadium, so be sure to get there early. Pop-up tents and chairs are encouraged.

Come meet our staff at the Gator Country tent. We will be handing out coupons for free one-month premium memberships in between games and giveaways such as books, videos and T-shirts. There also will be a drawing for a free VIP membership and a free annual premium to GatorCountry.com.

The tailgate will begin at 10 a.m. with live music beginning at around noon. The location is 118 SW 23rd Street (see map below), behind the President’s manson. Just listen for the music and look for the crowd of Gators having the time of their lives!
