Gators take Kentucky very seriously

The Kentucky Wildcats came to The Swamp with one of the nation’s top-rated defenses last year, fully expecting to play a competitive game with the Florida Gators. Nine minutes into the game, the suspense was over at the Gators were well on their way to a 63-5 win that was their 22nd straight over Kentucky, dating back to the 1986 season. While history and last year might indicate that Kentucky (2-0, 0-0 SEC East) is going to be another notch on the belt, Urban Meyer watches the film and sees a very dangerous team that the number one-ranked Gators (3-0, 1-0 SEC East) will face in Lexington Saturday (6 p.m., Commonwealth Stadium, ESPN2).
