Gators’ statistics see sharp dip

The Gators started the season 7-0 (6-0 SEC), and seemed to be clicking on most cylinders, especially after their seventh win of the season — a 44-11 drubbing of then-No. 7 South Carolina.

Florida was one win from clinching the SEC East and two wins from an unexpected perfect record in the SEC.

However, on Oct. 27 a different Gators team showed up against Georgia — one that could not seem to find the end zone, one that turned the ball over, and one that did not seem ready to accept the title of SEC East Champions.
