ShareGators practice notebook: Defense
The Gators practiced for the second time this spring on Friday afternoon, getting started right around 4:25 p.m. On a warm day in Gainesville, where there was nary a cloud in sight and the temperature hovered between 82 and 84 degrees, there was no shortage of action on the field as Florida got right down to work and seemed to display a quicker tempo during practice than we've seen in years past.
The defense went with white jerseys and blue shorts in addition to their helmets – no pads yet – as they completed their second day of work this week. Without any hitting, it's hard to read too much into how the players looked today, but here are some observations, news and notes from Day 2 of spring practice for Florida …
