ShareGators need offensive sustainability
A season ago, Florida entered an Oct. 1 matchup with Alabama at 4-0. Through those four games, the Gators had accumulated 161 points, an average of more than 40 per game.
The offense was rolling — especially the running game.
A week prior, in a 48-10 win against Kentucky, Florida amassed 405 yards on the ground, including Jeff Demps’ team-high 157 yards.
However, Florida’s offense turned out to be Cinderella-esque, and the next week, the clock struck midnight against Alabama.
