ShareGators face uphill climb
The Sunshine Showdown, which started at midfield with the opposing bands blasting school songs, spilled into the football game where both teams left battered and wounded. This game between Florida and Florida State, two hated rivals struggling to salvage their seasons, ended with the Florida Gators searching for an answer as to what the next step is for the football program after a 21-7 loss to the Seminoles. Just three years ago, the Gators celebrated the school's second national championship in three years. Now, UF is coping with the harsh reality of losing their 11th game in two seasons.
