Florida’s second day of opening spring practice on Saturday was slightly more entertaining than Friday’s workout with players donning full pads for the first time since last fall.

Hip hop music was pumped into the practice fields during calisthenics that seemed to delight several of the few dozen prospects in attendance for the Gators’ third official spring practice.

Quarterback Jeff Driskel took first-team snaps when practice began the with 11-on-11 game simulation work. The offense operated out of a hurry-up, no-huddle attack. Keeping true with a statement earlier in the week of rotating quarterbacks from day-to-day, Jacoby Brissett piloted the second-team offense on Saturday after leading the projected starters on Friday.
