Anybody can look good running around in a shirt and shorts. But it's when the pads come on that the men are separated from the boys.

The Gators are now beginning that process, following the first full contact workout of the spring on Saturday at the Sanders Practice Fields.

The 1 p.m. workout was attended by a fairly sizeable crowd – many of which stopped by briefly before moving next door to watch the No. 1 Florida baseball team win their 16th consecutive game of the season with a 5-1 victory against Vanderbilt at McKethan Stadium.

Those who did stop by were treated to a rather entertaining two-plus hours of action in the final practice that will be made open to the public (as well as the media) this spring.
