While fans can be critical of the commentators during televised broadcasts, the announcers do often give sharp insight and point out interesting facts over the course of football games. Love them or hate them, the announcers do their best to excitedly fill-in the gaps between plays and throughout your favorite team’s games.

On Saturday, the Gators’ nationally televised CBS broadcast again brought the SEC’s favorite tandem in Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson along with Tracy Wolfson roaming the sidelines.

The CBS telecast from Gainesville was surely a welcome sight to fans who had to suffer through ESPNU’s coverage of the Gators contest against Vanderbilt last weekend — which perhaps helped fans gain an appreciation for the sixth-year duo of Lundquist and Danielson.
