Flu bug bites Florida Gators

Florida Gators coach Will Muschamp said a flu bug has bitten his team this week and it will affect at least one player’s status for Saturday’s game against Missouri, which begins at noon at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

Redshirt sophomore defensive lineman Leon Orr was hospitalized on Tuesday and will sit out of Saturday’s game after suffering what Muschamp described as a “72-hour deal.” Muschamp said he’ll “be fine,” though. Orr has 13 tackles, including 4.5 for losses.

Orr wasn’t the only Florida football player to come down with the flu this week.
