ShareFlorida’s McCray to miss Shrine game
Florida Gators senior Lerentee McCray did not report this week for the East-West Shrine Game.
According to his agent, Florida grad Jonathan Perzley of SportStars Inc., in New York, McCray simply needs more rest before hitting the draft grind as hard as he hit eventual Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel on a game-changing sack in Florida’s 20-18 win at Texas A&M.
“He’s banged up from the season and he just needs to heal himself,” Perzley said. “He’s just not 100 percent, although he will be by the time the combine rolls around. But in terms of an all-star game, he really needed to get himself on track health-wise.”
