Florida’s depth chart: the defensive line

From a unit that was regularly shredded in 2007, Florida’s defensive line has evolved into a unit that is considered one of the best in the entire nation for 2009. The Gators showed consistent improvement on the defensive line throughout the 2008 season and by the time they got to the BCS National Championship Game against Oklahoma, they were a formidable group. Defensive line coach Dan McCarney has the depth, size and talent that he needs to mold this into the best unit in the Southeastern Conference in the fall.
