ShareFlorida Gators move up in national polls
The Florida Gators came-from-behind for a 14-7 victory against Missouri at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Saturday.
The Gators (8-1 overall, 7-1 in SEC play) came out flat a week after suffering the season’s first setback, a 17-9 loss against Georgia in Jacksonville. Some wondered if their struggles against an unranked opponent at home would affect their standings in the national rankings.
On Sunday, Florida moved up a spot to No. 7 in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll. Alabama is No. 1 followed by Oregon, Kansas State, Notre Dame, Georgia and Florida State.
