Gator Country

Twenty former Gators were active in Week 12 of the NFL season. Of those 20 players, 12 started for their respective teams. Pittsburgh Steelers running back Chris Rainey was the lone Gator in Week 12 to score a touchdown.

· Mike Peterson – Saw action at LB and recorded a tackle which was recorded as a TFL

BALTIMORE RAVENS
· Deonte Thompson – Not active in week 12

BUFFALO BILLS
· David Nelson­ – Tore ACL in week one, will miss remainder of the season

CAROLINA PANTHERS
· Louis Murphy – Saw action at WR and recorded two catches for 65 yards

CINCINNATI BENGALS
· Carlos Dunlap­ – Saw action at DE and recorded two tackles including a TFL
· Reggie Nelson – Started at FS recording six tackles, including a TFL, two quarterback hits and a pass defense

CHICAGO BEARS
· Major Wright – Started at SS and recorded three tackles with a pass defense and picked up a fumble recovery

CLEVELAND BROWNS
· Joe Haden – Started at LCB and recorded three tackles, two pass defenses, a forced fumble and interception

DENVER BRONCOS
· Andre Caldwell – Was not active in week 12

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
· Jeremy Mincey – Started at LDE and recorded one tackle

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
· Brandon Siler­ ­– Saw action at LB

MIAMI DOLPHINS
· Mike Pouncey – Started at C

MINNESOTA VIKINGS
· Percy Harvin – Was not active in week 12

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
· Jermaine Cunningham – Started at RE and recorded six tackles including a TFL
· Aaron Hernandez­ – Started at TE and recorded two catches for 36 yards
· Brandon Spikes – Started at LB and tied for a team-high 11 tackles while recording a forced fumble and pass defense
· Jeff Demps – On injured reserve

NEW YORK GIANTS
· Will Hill – Saw action at S and recorded two tackles and an assisted tackle on special teams

NEW YORK JETS
· Tim Tebow – Was active but did not see action in week 12

OAKLAND RAIDERS
· Cooper Carlisle – Started at LG

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
· Riley Cooper – Saw action at WR and recorded a reception for seven yards

PITTSBURGH STEELERS
· Marcus Gilbert – Was not active in week 12
· Maurkice Pouncey – Started at C
· Chris Rainey – Saw action at RB and had five rushes for 17 yards with a touchdown and four receptions for 15 yards
· Max Starks – Started at LT and recorded a tackle on special teams
