ShareFlorida football picked third in East
The Florida Gators were picked to finish third behind Georgia and South Carolina in the Southeastern Conference Eastern Division at SEC Media Days this week in Hoover, Ala.
A record of 222 media members took part in this year’s balloting. The previous high was 177 a year ago.
Just as with the Preseason Coaches All-SEC teams, the Gators didn’t have any players on the first-team offense or defense. They had only one player on either second team, with junior safety Matt Elam made the second team as a defensive back.
