ShareFlorida focused on finishing better
Asked what the biggest difference was from this year’s team and previous Florida teams that were much more successful, senior running back Jeff Demps didn’t really hesitate.
“I would probably just say finishing,” the 5-foot-7, 181-pound speedster said. “The teams in the past, we had those big playmakers and we also finished the games. Once we get there, we’ll be alright.”
For the second straight game, the Gators were within one score in the final five minutes of the game but couldn’t make the plays they needed to come out with a win.
