Flexible ‘D’ key for Florida in 2012

“They’re bullies,” Gators cornerback Marcus Roberson laughed, speaking about the dynamic defensive duo of Shariff Floyd and Dominique Easley. “But their pressure helps us as a secondary to make more plays and get more turnovers.”

That is important. Creating more turnovers is just what the Florida football team needs this season.

Last season, the Gators ranked a paltry 113th nationally in turnover margin (minus-12) and forced the fewest number of turnovers in school history — 14.
