Evans selected for East-West game

Florida safety Josh Evans has been selected to participate in the 2013 East-West Shrine Game, according to Adam Silverstein of OnlyGators.com.

The selection caps off an impressive year for the Irvington (N.J.) native, who in his final year in Gainesville led the Gators with 79 tackles — good enough to rank 24th in the SEC.
