ShareDriskel’s pick: A building block?
Jeff Driskel’s first interception had to happen sooner or later. Fortunately for his Florida football team, it came in Saturday’s 38-0 blowout against Kentucky in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium instead of a crucial situation with a game on the line.
How Driskel reacted to his first interception of the season is worth noting. He almost threw an interception on his next pass and made even two more errant throws later in the game.
The sophomore tossed a pair of interceptions last season, but neither game situation painted a clear picture of how he may bounce back.
Dating back to last season, the sophomore had thrown 86 passes without throwing a pick. His last interception came in last season’s win at Kentucky.
