Despite distractions, Gators are focused

ATLANTA, GA --- Urban Meyer has turned re-focusing his team after a distraction into an art form this season. Distractions have been part of the weekly landscape for the Florida Gators but perhaps none of the previous diversions were as ill-timed as the DUI arrest of star defensive end Carlos Dunlap early Tuesday morning. While the arrest and suspension of Dunlap had a chilling effect on Meyer, he says the Gators were able to quickly re-focus on the task of facing Alabama in Saturday’s Southeastern Conference Championship Game (4 p.m., CBS).
