Defense can’t carry Gators to victory

Defense has been the calling card for the Florida Gators this season.

Through its first five games, the defense did not allow a point in the fourth quarter. Midway through the season, it had produced more takeaways than the entire season before.

It even pitched a shutout. It came against Kentucky but counts all the same.
