As important as he is to Florida’s blocking schemes on the perimeter, Riley Cooper didn’t come back to spend one more year knocking defensive backs on their butts. It’s not that he minds the job. You could even say he relishes it, but if he was going to spend his senior year doing all that blocking and never seeing the football come his way, he would be playing baseball with the Texas Rangers’ fall developmental league team right now.
