Command of the offense: Tebow takes over

 |  April 14, 2007
Photos by Tim Casey

It is only a spring game, nothing to read too much or too little into, but for 47,500 or so fans at The Swamp this was the day that Tim Tebow took over as Florida's starting quarterback. The stats are impressive but they won't count and not many will remember the final score (27-21) or that the Blue team won the game but if Tebow does what everybody expects him to do in the next three years, then there will come a point in the future that at least 300,000 people will claim they were in the stadium the day that Tebow became THE man at Florida.
