Christy, Elam named All-Americans

A pair of Florida Gators’ football players were named to All-American teams on Thursday.

Florida junior safety Matt Elam and sophomore punter Kyle Christy were selected as Walter Camp Second-Team All-American Defense on Thursday.

It’s the third All-American honor for Elam and second for Christy. Both were named All-Americans by CBSSports.com earlier in the week while Elam also made the Sporting News’ All-American team earlier Thursday.
