Brissett the guy with Driskel likely out

The Florida Gators will likely be without starting quarterback Jeff Driskel on Saturday against Jacksonville State, according to UF coach Will Muschamp.

Driskel suffered a sprained ankle in the third quarter of Florida’s 27-20 victory against Louisiana-Lafayette last weekend.

Sophomore Jacoby Brissett replaced Driskel and helped the Gators erase a seven-point second-half deficit. If Driskel is unable to go — Muschamp called him “doubtful” — Brissett will be the guy for the Gators.
