Bridgewater on target for Louisville

Needing a victory to secure a BCS bid, the Louisville Cardinals hoped starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater could fight through the pain enough to lead them.

An injured wrist forced Bridgewater to play exclusively from the shotgun formation, and Louisville coach Charlie Strong said early in the week he was unsure what the team would get from the Miami native.

But Bridgewater performed.
