ShareBCS or bust: Has Florida ‘arrived?’
Florida Gators football appears to have “arrived,” but Will Muschamp isn’t satisfied.
The Gators moved up to No. 3 in the Associated Press Top 25 and No. 4 in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll on Sunday. They also are No. 2 behind Alabama in the initial Bowl Championship Subdivision standings, which also were released Sunday night.
Florida is 6-0 overall and sit atop the Southeastern Conference Eastern Division standings with a 5-0 record heading into Saturday’s 3:30 p.m game against No. 8 South Carolina at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
ESPN’s College GameDay will broadcast from Gainesville, Fla. It will be the third Saturday this season Florida has played at the site of GameDay. The others saw Florida rallying from halftime deficits to win at Texas A&M (20-17) and Tennessee (37-20).
