Allstate announces Mayhem Sweepstakes

 |  September 12, 2012  |  0 Comments

Mayhem is back this college football season. The Allstate Insurance Company has announced the return of its "60 Seconds of Mayhem Sweepstakes" which will give two lucky fans the chance to compete in a field goal kick competition before the Allstate® Sugar Bowl® to win a new truck, boat, motorcycle, travel trailer and a VIP trip to meet college football television analyst Kirk Herbstreit at the BCS Championship.

Fans can enter the sweepstakes beginning today through November 30, 2012, by visiting www.allstatecfb.com. Fans can also enter by visiting the traveling Allstate Tailgate Tour during one of its game day stops at Allstate-sponsored universities during the 2012 college football season.

"Allstate is thrilled to give fans the chance to experience a little college football mayhem - first hand - by playing the game and ultimately winning the chance to really see how hard it is to kick a field goal into the "Good Hands®" field goal net," said Pam Hollander, senior director of sponsorship marketing for Allstate. "These fantastic '60 Seconds of Mayhem Sweepstakes' prizes represent the multiple product lines that Allstate insures, so we are excited to see who gets to ride them home."

The grand prize kick competition will take place at the Allstate Fan Fest in the heart of the French Quarter leading up to the 2013 Allstate® Sugar Bowl® in New Orleans. The finalist who successfully converts the most field goal attempts into the Allstate “Good Hands®” net from the 15-yard line in 60 seconds will win the grand prize package and a trip for themselves and a guest to Miami for the BCS Championship. Before the game, the winner will take part in a private meet-and-greet session with Kirk Herbstreit.

This year’s grand prize package will include a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD, 2013 Tahoe Q5i runabout boat, a 2013 Victory Judge motorcycle and a 2013 Forest River Flagstaff V-Lite travel trailer.

Fans who register for the sweepstakes can also participate in their own “60 Seconds of Mayhem” game online for a chance to win weekly prizes that enhance their college football game day experience. Instant prizes include tailgate grills and smokers, digital cameras, portable music systems, computer tablets, flat screen TVs, gift cards to sporting goods retailers and more.
