The phone hasn’t stopped ringing even though Vernell Brown hung up his cleats awhile back. He still gets calls from teams and leagues that want to know if he still has that burning desire to play football but his answer is always the same. He says thanks but no thanks. He tells them he’s proven everything he has to prove on the football field but its place on life’s list of priorities has been overtaken by things far more important.
