ACK: Now we find out about the Gators
The true test of a champion is not how he handles success, but how he deals with adversity. I have always coached this way and I've been motivated by this slogan for as long as I can remember. In a society where everyone wants to build you up when things are good, they are looking to tear you down even faster at the first sign of failure. Florida lost to Ole Miss 31-30 on Saturday and in my opinion the Gators are already at the breaking point of their season. Sure Florida is talented enough to win nine games and head back to the Capital One Bowl. But if they want to win 11 games they are going to have to show some leadership and toughness in the coming weeks. Florida lost a football game --- everyone will lose one by the end of 2008 --- so it’s what they do now that will write the headline for the 2008 Gators.
