ACK: Let the real season begin
The Gators accomplished most of their goals in their season opening win against Charleston Southern. The game provided very little in terms of competitive challenge so the goal was to remain healthy and get plenty of players work. The Gator offense scored on nine of twelve possessions and the defense did not allow a touchdown. Players like Jon Bostic, Mike Gilleslie, Frankie Hammond and Omarius Hines got some much needed work to build experience and confidence. Florida’s win provided very little in terms of what the future may hold for this season, but did give us a glimpse into 2010 and beyond of what to expect.
