ACK: In defense of the BCS

I realize everyone is down on the BCS and I am in line with everyone else that we need a playoff, but for argument’s sake allow me to walk out to that vacant island that no one wants to go to and defend our college football system. The BCS was designed to put together the best two teams in the country at the end of the year using their body of work. With that we use the human element, which is the Coaches poll and Harris poll and the computers.
