ACK: Gators poised for stretch run

Brady Ackerman  |  November 5, 2007

Florida got back home Saturday and regained its swagger for a November stretch run. The Gators played aggressive defense and displayed a precision offense in unloading on Vanderbilt, 49-22. There was extra motivation from Florida's defensive coaching staff which convinced Urban Meyer to go on defense first and the defense didn't disappoint. On the offensive side, Tim Tebow and Percy Harvin torched the Commodores' top 20 defense. The Gators are now poised to finish the season strong and do their part to get back to Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game.
