Florida’s football team has finished phase one of its three-pronged preparation for the FedEx BCS National Championship Game in Miami against Oklahoma (January 8, Dolphins Stadium, Fox TV). When the Gators return from Christmas break next Saturday, it will be all Oklahoma all the time. Florida’s coaches have gone through all the game tapes and developed the game plan and that will implemented when practice starts again. Urban Meyer will ratchet up the intensity for these practices, which should be the toughest of the month.
