Ack analyzes Florida-FSU

Brady Ackerman  |  November 22, 2007

Even though there is no national championship at stake this weekend, the Florida-FSU game (5 p.m., Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, CBS-TV) is critical for both football programs. I would go so far to call this the most important game in this series since Urban Meyer beat Bobby Bowden and the Seminoles 34-7 in 2005. Since winning that game, Florida is 22-4 with a national championship. Meanwhile, FSU has floundered to a 15-12 record. The winner of Saturday’s game will use it like a springboard for bigger and better things in the future.
