A sense of urgency

It happens every year, a point when a handful of players develop this overwhelming sense of urgency to show up at spring football practice and actually do something other than occupy space. Urban Meyer calls it “showing a pulse” and that’s probably a good way to phrase it because if these guys don’t start showing some life, they’re either going to start the search for greener pastures or find themselves forever buried on the depth chart.
