Halfway through the college football season, the national title contenders have cemented themselves near the top of the rankings for the time being.
We’ve gathered a handful of our esteemed Gator Country members and asked them to pick their own Top 25, so we can put together our very own Top 25 poll!
We continue the season with 26 pollsters taking part, and today we debut our Week 6 poll!
After LSU’s convincing win over Florida, our voters have decided to move the Tigers ahead of the Alabama Crimson Tide, jumping from No. 2 to No. 1.
That was the only change in our Top 10 this week other than No. 10 Texas falling all the way to No. 22 after a blowout loss to No. 3 Oklahoma. No. 4 Wisconsin and No. 5 Stanford rounded out the Top 5.
Boise State, Oklahoma State, Clemson and Oregon held their spots at Nos. 6 through 9, respectively, while Arkansas jumped up two spots from No. 12 to anchor the final spot in this week’s Top 10.
That gave the SEC three teams in the Top 10 again this week, while South Carolina moved up two spots to No. 13 and Georgia returned to the poll at No. 24.
Florida fell from the rankings after a second straight loss, while Houston also made its debut at No. 25 in the rankings.
