After one week of action the Alabama Crimson Tide strengthened their hold on the No. 1 position in the GC Top 25 Poll. The Florida Gators, with five first place votes finished at No. 4, falling 3 spots.
South Carolina jumped six spots to No. 17, while the Hokies fell ten spots to No. 18. Florida State did not impress the Gator Country board of pollsters as they are at No, 21 coming up four spots.
Pittsburgh and Oregon State dropped from the polls, while West Virginia made their debuts.
It should be noted that our poll does not take an official position on Southern Cal, if voters believe they should be rated they can vote, if not they can leave them off. They did finish “No. 26”.
