Florida’s first three games on ESPN

Florida finally knows what time to show up for its first three games and fans know where to find those games on the tube.

The Florida Gators football team learned Monday its first three games of 2012 will be broadcasted on ESPN.

The Southeastern Conference also released game times for those games.

The Gators open the season at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 1 by hosting Bowling Green in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. That’s followed by the SEC opener at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 8 against Texas A&M, which joined the league along with Missouri this season as part of a two-team expansion.

Florida then heads to Tennessee for a 6 p.m. game on Sept. 15. The longtime rivalry will not air on CBS for the first time since 1995.

CBS will air the Gators’ game against their other SEC East rival, Georgia, at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 27.

The rest of the game times will be announced at a later date.
