For those NFL hopefuls trying to make the transition from college, there is hours upon hours of preparation.

There are workouts and combines and skill test.

But one of the most tiring aspects of this all important job interview, is the personal meetings.

Former Florida Gators offensive lineman Max Garcia said that he has already had over 100 interviews with NFL scouts and they want to know all about his life. These meetings are just getting started though and with more to come, GatorCountry sat down with Max during Senior Bowl week to delve into our own Gator version of these meetings.

With questions ranging from the personal to dealing with his time at Florida, we find out a little bit more about Max Garcia and help a few NFL teams learn from him as well.

About Kassidy Hill

Born into a large family of sports fanatics and wordsmiths alike, sports journalism came natural to Kassidy. It’s more than a passion; it’s simply a part of who she is. Hailing from Alabama in the midst of typical Iron Bowl family, she learned very quickly just how deep ties in the SEC could run. She came to Gainesville after college to pursue a degree as television sports reporter but quickly realized she missed writing. She’s excited to now marry the two aspects for Gator fans. She loves Jesus, her daddy and football; wants to be Billy Donovan’s best friend and firmly believes that offensive lineman are the best people on earth. Follow her on Twitter @KassidyGHill
