WR Stacy Coley cools on Florida

Under Armour All-American practices began as some of the nation’s elite prospects showcased their talent at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.

The opposing defensive backs on the White Team impressed Oakland Park (Fla.) Northeast wide receiver Stacy Coley.

“Everybody is talented,” Coley said. “It’s a new challenge, but everything is all good,”

Coley, who received interest and a scholarship offer from Florida early on, still considers the Gators a possibility, despite contemplating several other schools as well.

“I’m considering Ole Miss, North Carolina, Florida State, Miami and Florida,” Coley said. “But everyone is still the same. They’re all neutral.”

Although he still lists the Gators as a possible destination, he doesn’t think it’s a realistic option anymore.

“I haven’t been in contact with Florida ever since coach [Aubrey] Hill left,” Coley said. “So Florida is doubtful.”

So it appears the 6-foot-1, 173-pound wide receiver and the Gators have moved on from each other with the 2013 recruiting class just a little over a month away from National Signing Day.
