VIDEO: DT Darious Cummings highlights

Scooba (Miss.) East Mississippi Community College defensive tackle Darious Cummings flipped his commitment from Ole Miss to Florida following the Jacksonville State game.

The 6-foot-3, 310-pound Cummings signed with Florida State out of high school but transferred to the junior college ranks following a knee injury.

The scouting report on Cummings is that even though he is more than 300 pounds, his athleticism and will allow him to slide over to defensive end some in college. However, he will still mainly be used as a defensive tackle.

Cummings is very quick off of the ball and stays low to the ground, which allows him to win the leverage battle against offensive linemen.

The one thing you will notice on his Hudl.com highlight tape is he never gives up on a play, which gives him the chance to get some tackles in pursuit.

On the year, Cummings had 26 tackles and three sacks on a very good defensive line.
